MINISTRY OF EVNGELISAM

It is not God’s desire that anyone should perish. Therefore, the goal/purpose is to share with everyone who does not know Jesus, the Good News of salvation that we receive, free of charge, through Jesus Christ.

When someone comes to Church for the first time, to introduce them to Jesus Christ and to guide them to the salvation that can be received through the mercy of God, and if they receive Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and Lord, then guide them through the prayer of repentance and forgiveness of sins, teaching them the Word of God weekly and leading them up to baptism.

Those who receive Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord and when they obey the command as it is stated in the Word of God,

Matthew 28:19 -  “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit…..”

teach them through the Word of God the importance of water baptism and then baptize them by immersion in the water.

The goal/purpose is that new believers who experience salvation, will come to know God more and more, so that God can personally work in their lives, and to provide the opportunity for them to build a personal relationship with God.

The only ministry that cannot be done in heaven but only on earth is the ministry of evangelism. As such, the goal of this Purpose is to encourage every believer in the church to be involved in this ministry.

We believe in pursuing the heart of God. It is our desire to be in His presence and to celebrate
Him by expressing our love and gratitude toward Him, in song, in the use of our talents,
in words, in giving, and inaction. We believe that God is honoured in our world when we chose to live lives of worship.
